When Britney Spears turned 11, she became a full-fledged member of the
Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) for both the 1993 and 1994 seasons.
Following the cancellation of MMC in 1993, Britney first went home and
later at the age of 15 returned to New York and signed a record deal with
Jive. By early 1998, Spears' first album Baby, One More Time was complete.
She was 17 years old and her debut landed at the No. 1 spot on the
Billboard charts. NEW: Get your own Britney Spears E-mail! That way you can show
